Stefano Bollani and Aterballetto opened the 2010 edition of the TraMonti festival

The inauguration of TraMonti on 10th July 2010 at Pietra di Bismantova was a great success. More than 2,000 spectators watched the moving and evocative artistic dialogue marked by the music of Stefano Bollani at the piano and enriched by the harmony of movement of the dancers of the Aterballetto Company, choreographed by Mauro Bigonzetti.

Luigi Ghirri / Lezioni di Fotografia (Lessons in Photography)

On Saturday May 8th at 7 pm at the "Al Corso" theatre at 14 Corso Garibaldi in Reggio Emilia, the writer Gianni Celati will present an unpublished editorial project on Luigi Ghirri: a book (Quodlibet Publications) which, for the first time, collects the photography lessons held by the photographer from Reggio Emilia at the Università del Progetto between 1989 and 1990, a period in which the Institute was supported by the Province of Reggio Emilia.

On Thursday 15th April 2010, in the auditorium “Manodori” (University of Studies of Modena and Reggio Emilia) at 5 p.m., presentation of the research results carried out by the University Iuav in Venice for the preparation of guidelines and projects regarding territories with special landscape relevance and fragility, seats of industrial and artisan settlements.

FAI (Italian National Trust for the Environment) Spring Days in Correggio

The iniziative, organized in collaboration with the Landscape Biennial, takes place on 26th, 27th and 28th March and includes guided tours (to the Municipal Palace in Corso Mazzini 33, to the National State Boarding School “Rinaldo Corso” in Via Bernieri – which includes the majestic Church of St. Joseph Calasanzio(Chiesa di San Giuseppe Calasanzio) once San Domenico – and to the Jewish Cemetery in Via Della Repubblica) and a charity show by Aterballetto.

Angelo Davoli: Cantiere Morini - work in progress

Angelo Davoli’s exhibit, which illustrates the artist’s experience at Cantiere Morini, will be inaugurated on Saturday 27 March at Palazzo Casotti (Piazza Casotti 1 in Reggio Emilia at 6 pm). Cantiere Morini is the site where the artist painted two silos that served as the setting of the Aterballetto performance “Certe Notti”, filmed and used as the scenography (produced by Davoli himself) , with choreography by Mauro Bigonzetti and music by Luciano Ligabue.
