"Water is a precious commodity the equity, quality and availability of which must be guaranteed by public authorities: the Province will continue its commitment in guaranteeing these principles through concrete actions and by recognizing them in its Statute”. This is what the president of the Province, Sonia Masini, said in her intervention at the conclusion of the extraordinary Council which was open to the public with the theme water held on 11th January at Palazzo Allende.

The regional TG3 broadcast a long report on the 2009 edition of the “Un Po” event, held from 17th to 25th October in the municipalities of Boretto, Gualtieri and Guastalla: a series of events set in that which was the world of Antonio Ligabue, touching on literature, art and the environment but with water always at the centre of the attention.
